We’re Back!

Hello! It’s Cissy and Sam and we’re back for another year! For 2019 we’re having ten days in March to celebrate Neighbours Day Aotearoa.

Neighbours Day 2019 will be held from March 22-31st.

Why 10 days? It’s our 10th birthday! 2019 marks 10 years since we’ve been doing Neighbours Day. We also wanted there to be a better range of days that people could choose for putting on their events, so there are less clashes with other events, and more days without rain.

Road Trip! Neighbours of New Zealand

We’re hatching a plan! A road trip! We want to travel all the way up and down Aotearoa chatting with real people, about what they’re doing in their neighbourhoods. If you’re doing great things in your neighbourhood drop us a line, we’d love to visit and highlight the work you’re doing. We’ll be visiting small towns, big cities, chatting with some of the people who make New Zealand neighbourhoods wonderful.

We’ll also be running some workshops along the way. So if you’re interested in us (Cissy and Sam) coming to your community to help share ideas, and put some actions around it –  drop us a line and let us know.
