The five ways to wellbeing outline five actions that individuals can use in day to day life to enhance the wellbeing of individuals, families, communities and organisations.

The five ways to wellbeing are promoted by the Mental Health Foundation of NZ to assist communities to achieve positive mental wellbeing and ultimately, help New Zealand to be a flourishing nation.  These include:

  1. Connect: Whakawhanaungatanga
  2. Give: Koha me te Aroha
  3. Take notice: Kia Mataara, Mohiotanga
  4. Keep learning: Whakatewhatewha
  5. Be Active: Mahi kakamā
