Start a community project with your neighbours

Thinking Big

Community projects help neighbours to think big and have an input into their local neighbourhoods. They feel more connected, a greater sense of pride and connect with neighbours for a common purpose - getting a project off the ground!

There are hundreds of examples of great community projects happening in neighbourhoods.  From giant garage sales to timebanks, street parades, murals, fundraising, community gardening or composting projects to growing food on verges – take the time to ask your neighbours what they would like to see happen and get a project started in your neighbourhood.
